Your hosts and a local team look after the house and are there for you before and during your stay.
The space
Looking for a holiday home in Israel? How about a unique stone-clad house in one of Israel's most cosmopolitan cities? Location The house is in the quiet Ramat Hen neighbourhood in the heart of Haifa, Israel's third-largest city, between the Neve Sha'anan and Ahuza districts. The Technion is within walking distance. The Mediterranean coast is about 9 km away, around 10 minutes by car. Haifa Hof HaCarmel train station is right by the beach. Within a few kilometres you will find Grand Canyon, the largest shopping mall in northern Israel, as well as Moriah Boulevard and the German Colony, both known for restaurants and nightlife. There is a public playground just around the corner, and the nearest supermarket is about 800 m away. The house The house (not just an apartment!) offers more than 110 m² of living space on three floors: three bedrooms (a master bedroom with a double bed and two children's or guest rooms, one with a single bed and one with two single beds), a living room, a kitchen, two bathrooms plus a guest toilet, a small balcony and a garden with a terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, blender, sandwich maker, cookware, dishes and cutlery. There is a TV in every room, plus a DVD player, radio, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board. For young guests there are plenty of toys for toddlers and older children, a high chair, a children's table and chairs, and a baby cot with bedding on request. Extras The house has an intercom, and the windows and doors on the ground floor are barred for extra security. It also has a reinforced safe room (mamad). Every room has air conditioning, which also heats on the occasional cold winter night. You have two private parking spaces in the underground garage. The stairs inside the house are wide and comfortable, but the house is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
The area
A very quiet neighbourhood, yet only about 10 minutes from most sights and the city centre. Several bus lines stop about 150 m from the house, and taxis in Haifa are fairly inexpensive.
